There's a bit of glare on this pic, as my camera has an auto-flash feature that I can't disable w/out tearing the camera apart :(. This is a pic of the fingerboard though, the picture doesn't really do it justice though.

And.... the close-up of the pickups of course!

I don't have an exact weight, but I've estimated it's roughly 10lbs, somewhere in that general neighborhood.

I don't have any full shots of the guitar that aren't of me playing it, and those were in a dark studio. Once my friend gets back I'll ask if she can lend me her camera to snap a few pics of the guitar. Glad to hear you guys like it. Now I wanna know:

What do you think I played on this guitar first?

Nice, not a 7 string person myself, but that's a sweet axe. And a  :icon_thumright: for the ziricote, love that stuff.... :icon_biggrin:

Well, from the pickups (Invader), the fact it's a seven string AND a baritone, i'd like to expect that you play some MEHTOOL! But this question arouses suspicion, and I just swapped out some pickups in a friends guitar and put an Invader in the bridge, and it's pretty versatile.

You were correct in being suspicious, the first thing I played, or attempted to play on this guitar... was some Lenny Breau. That's right, jazz  :cool01:

Truly awesome.  I wish you many years of great music on that wonderful tool for expression.

Thank you very much :) I hope I learn enough about music and the various styles/genres to be able to one day fully use the tonal capabilities of the guitar :)

Yeah, ur missing some string locks there... whammy much?

Actually no, I was cleaning the nut cause there was some buildup in it, and my friend was the one who took the pictures. Turns out she was too lazy to put the rest of the string locks in, but they're in now  :cool01:

Cool Guit! :party07:

Thank you much. I've been trying to get some recordings so you guys can hear what this beast sounds like, but I have no preamp or anything. Normally I could work around this, but plugging directly from the amp to my laptop gives me a headache. I can't turn the thing up at all (I'm using a little 15w bassman and I have the volume just above 1, with the volume on my guitar turned up to about...15% maybe?) without the thing clipping like crazy when I record it. Don't have a mic to record with either :(

Cool beans, looks like people like this guitar. I've been meaning to get a recording of it, but that won't be for at least another week now. Also, I'm changing string gauges on this guy, currently using a set of EB NES 12-56 with an added .060 for the 7th string. I'm not really happy with the strings right now as the higher strings seem too tight but the lower strings feel too loose. I'm thinking of using a set of elixer 10-52s (maybe swap the 52 for a 56?) with an added .068 for the lowest string. I definitely want to stay with elixers as they're the only ones that last more than a couple days with the way I corrode strings. Does this sound like a decent set of strings?
