Well with the electric getting closer to finished by the day I figured I needed a amp that would be playable in a apartment. I read a lot and listened to youtube clips and thought the blackstar HT-5TH sounded good with lots of versatility. I came across a good deal on ebay and bought one!  :toothy12: I think it should sound good but we shall see.

Congrats on NAD. I've heard a lot of good things about the Blackstars, many of them here. I think you'll find that even 5 watts will be more than loud enough.

I have a Marshall Slash version which is 5 watts and it is plenty loud enough for playing at home.  I think you will be fine...

Congrats, Blackstar are excellent amps. I have the HT-60 and is insanely loud, so the 5 should be fine for an apartment.

Well that is good to hear. A little validation in comforting. Ha I should have got the HT-60. My neighbors would have loved me. "TURN IT DOWN!!" What?? Ya I'm working on Pantera! Turn it up?? :party07:

I have an HT5-R as an apartment rig, but I don't think I have ever actually turned it all the way up.

For the price of them you can't go wrong I think.

You wouldn't have to worry about the neighbors, you wouldn't be able to hear them... :toothy12:

I've been using a Blackstar HT5 since before they gave it reverb.
Love it! Wish I had waited for the R model
