My order just went to “pickable” 🎉

It took a while but my new pickguard order just changed to pickable. It’s a 7/8 with an angled humbucker and a single coil cutout for the neck. I ordered a 7/8 last year and tried to order an angled humbucker pickguard for the bridge. At the time that was an option in the builder but they told me that it’s a mistake and that they actually couldn’t do that.


The option is still there so I asked recently if they could actually do this and they can I’m super excited. I love the look of angled bridge humbuckers! It’s going to be a matte black pickguard on an ash body. The bridge pickup is just going to be a stew Mac overwound bridge pickup and I’ll be getting a dimarzio area 67 for the neck. Do you think it would look weird with a black bridge pickup in a black pick guard with a cream neck pickup? With a cream push push volume knob in the tone spot? Just doing a push push as a two way selector.
