I've always thought an ash body-maple neck/fret board Jazzmaster would be cool...So I after a long time of seaching for the right parts at the right price, here it is...finished mock up before finishing...I'm gonna do an amber tint clear coat on it......
Very nice project and I am diggin' it...
I think the pickguard will look fine once you get a finish on that body.
What kind of P-90's are you using?

I'm a huge Jazzmaster fan,so the cloth wiring is done in the traditional Jazzmaster way....The pick ups are Lollar Jazzmaster...I've never heard them but the deal on them was to good to pass up..I really look forward to hearing them.
Well grain filling and final sanding is done so I'm ready to start the finish...I'm hoping for a look similar to this(maybe a slight bit more amber)This is just after I wiped it with napthe.
Just applied the decal...Was kinda nervous doing it as it's a little bigger than the one on my other JM,plus the headstocks are not the same size.I think it turned out pretty good.
I'm just waiting for the nitro to cure now..Prolly another two weeks...I fit the neck to the body and set the pickguard on to see how it looks....I'm thinkin it looks pretty good, but I'm always open to suggestions.
