Well, I just finished rubbing it out on Saturday, & I finished wiring it up yesterday, & I re-applied the neck & set her back up this morning.  A friend was gracious enough to loan me his Digi-cam, so here ya go.

Honestly though, these pics don't do it justice, you can't see the brilliance in the sparkle of the metalcast paint.

& now the mirrored-plexi under the fine tuners of the trem, this will aid in reflecting the led's that I intend to put underneath the trem eventually.

& now the led's under the pickups, as activated by the push/push swith in the 500k tone pot, out is on, in is off

Thanks, it makes a great night light too, no more being escorted onto the stage by a roadie, oh, excuse me, "equipment valet", you just walk right on out confident that you won't trip on any cables, pedals, etc...

I have a RG 7 with a really cheap Floyd that could really use a makeover.  Where can I find a Lo Pro 7 bridge?  Is it compatable with the studs of my currrent bridge?

How did you do the paint?

All rattle cans.
Duplicolor's Black Sandable Primer
Duplicolor's Metallic Slate (silver) as a metallic base coat
Duplicolor's MetalCast Blue
Ace Hardware's Gloss Enamel, (7 or 8 cans)

Surprisingly, this finish came out to dry pretty hard.  I buffed it out using Mcguire's Mirror Glaze #26, & it feels like butter.

you going to be shredin around hard in that upper register? 24th fret? like Rusty? :party07:

I actually do play up there quite a bit.  I do 3 octave arpeggios across all 7 strings starting at the 17th fret on the low B, ending on the 24th on the high E, then back down.  Having that cutaway configured the way that it is now really helps to provide me the clearance I need for accomplishing that.

Perhaps I've been living under a rock, but I've never seen LEDs underneath pickups before.

F***in' sweet.
