I know it's not the cable, I've tried three different cables.
I've trued it in different rooms, too.
But beforr i went to sleep last night, i tested it out with my phone across the room, and there was no chirping...
So i think it may be the cell phone thing. Because it dawned on me that I'm pretty sure my phone was on the same side as that speaker, so that must be it...
I'm going to test it more today, befor i call, but it sucks because I use my phone often.

One way to check would be to switch the phone off while testing to rule it out. I know it might be difficult to do  :glasses9:

I was just playing it with the phone at the other end of the house, and it still happened. Next I'm going to switch the left and right speakers to make sure it is the speaker, and not the position.

They replaced the monitor with no problem, and this one (smells like new kevlar... aah  :glasses9: ) seems to be working fine. Played through it for about an hour with no chirping.
Life is good, USB audio works flawlessly now, monitors are working, and all is well.

I did a pretty good mix using DI's from Ryan "Fluff" Bruce. He occasionally uploads his DI's for you to make your own mix and practice mixing, and to experiment with tones. I'm pretty happy with this. (Thanks to Fluff's solid playing)

Yes.. That would be perfect, haha. Week number 7 (from the day I ordered) was monday. We're getting there!

The time has passed quicker than i expected, but I'm getting really eager.
I'll be ordering the rest of my hardware in a week or two, so the guitar will hopefully be done by June, if all goes to plan!

I'm actually looking forward to watching yours come along because I'm thinking, eventually, my first build will be a Yellow Dyed Flame Maple/Black Korina VIP. And yours just so happens to be pretty close.

It's funny, because i was thinking about making this one with yellow dye, and having cream pickup rings, emulating one of Kirk Hammett's Les Pauls, sorta. I love that look!
