My guitar teacher have a warmoth guitar. He had someone build it for him many years ago.
It's a strat body, yellow dye, HSS konfig with coiltap on the humbucker.
Wilkinson VS100 trem, sperzel locking tuners. Graphtech nut. Neck is maple with ebony fretboard. I believe it's 6105ss frets.

The guitar is amazing!

He allowed me to post these pics.

Nothing wrong with Toto, but I can imagine that being a real niche market.  I can only think of one hit.  I imagine it would be hard to fill 3 hours of music that more than true fans would fine interesting.

I agree but they really had a couple of big hits. Rosanna, Hold the Line, Africa to name a few and that from someone who's not a fan.

I didn't know that was them.  A quick Wiki search yielded Steve Lukather was in the band too.  I didn't know that either.

Yeah nothing wrong with Toto, they just wouldn't be the first band that popped into my head if I were looking to start a tribute band.

How's this for a Toto tribute?  :icon_jokercolor:

Try listening to some of their later stuff, like their "Tambu" album. (Check out the timing in "Dave's gone skiing").
Also, I've always hated "house of the rising sun", since I've heard it played to death, but their tribute to it on "Through the looking glass" gave it a whole new life for me  :headbang1:
