Got the body today so I started putting her together.  FWIW Warmoth stuff is top notch.

Sonic Blue swamp ash body, maple/rosewood neck, Lollar P90s, Grover Kluson-style tuners.

Will post more pics when done.  Comments welcome.  Thanks.

Man, that thing is GORGEOUS.  Honestly, as soon as i opened your thread and saw that picture i gasped!  Have fun.  The bridge pickup in my jazzmaster is a "stealth'ed" P90 (meaning it still looks like a normal Jazzmaster pickup), and it's a match made in heaven.  I think you'll love it.  :icon_thumright:

Thanks man!  Much appreciated.  I've seen yours on offsetguitars and it was one of the inspirations for mine!  Should be working on the wiring tonight or tomorrow, will have a full report then.

saw this on the offset forum a little while ago and loved it, almost suggested you check out the warmoth forum :icon_biggrin: i love this thing! warmoth's brown shell pickguards are the best looking tortoise around i think.

I know some people string up 12 strings as 6 strings to get more space between strings for finger picking, but this is a bit extreme. Almost as bad as the Anti-Keith Richards guitar someone posted a few months ago.

Seriously, I like it, I would've preferred a strat hardtail or recessed TOM if I wanted to go TOM, but otherwise nice.

I guess that's one way to save on string wear.

Lookin' pretty nice, love sonic blue and regular P-90s on a Jazzmaster do look rather striking.

I've always loved Sonic Blue + Tortoise (a la old Weezer) and I've seriously contemplated it in a JM.
Make 1 cover black and I'd have it in a heartbeat.

Who am I kidding? I want it anyways.
