Wow great forum.
So I guess it's no secret that I'm a noob here, and I'm happy to be a new part of the warmoth builds. I just recently ordered a body and neck from warmoth, and from what I've seen them build so far I'm looking forward to the intense wait time.
My strat project will sort of take me into the 50's with a solid swamp ash body. The finish is Mary Kaye transparent dedicated to her trio, but no gold finish. I'm getting the electronics as "basic 50's" as I can, even to finding the particular cap that I need. The neck is a standard vintage style mapleneck with a standard thin radius.
The pickups I have are a set of fender 57/62's, which I think will give the swamp ash what it needs.
As soon as I have my parts in, I'm sure pictures will find their way to the site.
Glad to be here in the world I was meant to be in: The Custom Build!
