My first live Rock Solo!

Has Nancy ever played a solo on record? I'm not enough of a Heart fan to know, but I'm going to guess no. She sure is pretty though ;)

Hate to break it to you, but she didn't play lead on Magic Man, that was the hugely underrated Roger Fischer (sp?), who was the big gun in that band until it became a pop group in the early 80's after they booted him. I think on more recent stuff, Howard Leese is the culprit.

Oh lame.  I kinda wish I didn't know that, it would have been so much cooler if it had been Nancy Wilson... but credit where credit is due!  Nice job Roger Fischer (sp?)!

Yeah, she was pretty fine back in the 70s!

Kudos man, way to step up and do what had to be done to save the show!

Nancy Wilson only has one solo work I was able to find.  I don't own it, but one of our secretaries at work plays this CD a lot.

She sings pretty dang good.  :rock-on:

'Damn sound guy could have turned up the friggin' guitar. That kind of stuff really pisses me off...

Ann & Nancy Wilson....Arguably 2 of the hottest chicks in rock & roll (at least back then), and they're sisters.!!..

They both looked so hot in that video....the subject of much adolescent, um, adualation..??..

Dude, your wife's got a killer voice...she really nails that high note...

No sh*t.  It's live music, OUTSIDE...

to the OP, great job man!

Thanks guys.

Shes a good singer.

we've actually got a website up thats only kind of half there, but theres some other stuff on there.

I"ll be honest and say the music choice isn't so good. its her music we're playing... Alone is one of the better songs, but aside from that we're playing stuff like hilary duff and j-lo.
Mind you i suppose its good to get some money out of my gear.

You could always add "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavingne and Kelli Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone"...

We used to play those two in my old band.  Sounds kinda gay for a bunch of guys to be playin' those songs but the girls liked 'em...

That Avril song is horrendous... but Since You've Been Gone is a great pop song.

+1 on both points.  You've been spot on lately GoDrex!  :)

Yeah Drex, I agree...But like I said, the girls liked 'em...  I didn't say that I did...

Can't speak for the guy who thought he could sing, but that's a whole other story entirely :evil4:

OK, someone just said a Kelly Clarkson song was good and someone else agreed..............................................I have to leave now.

Actually she played that "hot" song by avril and sang it for me at our wedding. (and we do play a kelly clarkson song, "never again")

so I played We're in this Together by Nine Inch Nails and
Angel by Stabbing westward for her.

Thats right....  I played nine inch nails with a full band at my wedding. :party07:

one less snob hehehehe ;)

I love it....I'm actually trying to write something to play and sing for my bride at our wedding.  I have plenty of time, it's not until next year.  But everytime I sit down to write something, I wind up just jamming to something that's completely inappropriate...I'm not sure that Free Fallin', Crazy Bitch or Janie's Cryin' would be something to sing to your new wife on her wedding day.... :laughing11:
