My first DIY finish

I started reading about how to do different things, but there was so much conflicting information that I just did everything my own way. The zero is acrylic, the white wash is 2/3 water and 1/3 indoor latex paint wiped off with a rag, then I'm about 4 coats of tru-oil in. Seems like it's going to turn out pretty good.

That does look GOOD Indeed!  :icon_thumright:

How many coats of Tru-Oil are you going to use?

What are the plans for a finish on the neck?

Thanks. I think I'm on the 6th coat of tru oil now and I think I may stick with that. I wanted the finish to be relatively thin and satin.

As for the neck, I got an unfinished Brazilian ebony telecaster neck and I am just going to leave it exactly as it comes. I don't think any finish could improve it.

Here's the finished product. There's more pics in the telecaster section.
