My baby snakes style strat

Sorry for the new thread but I messed the last one up. This is my strat based on frank Zappa’s baby snakes SG. I just need some classic humbuckers and a harness and I’ll be all set! It’s going to have a black pearl pickguard and hipshot tremolo!

Here’s the neck. With crooked tuners. But after seeing Gibson guitars with crooked tuners I feel more at peace with it

Ha thanks. Would it bother you guys that the tuners are crooked? I googled crooked tuners and it looks like a lot of Gibson’s have that issue... obviously it should still play good but I wanted this to be my perfect guitar. Maybe later on I’ll buy a dark neck to go along with it and have the tuners put on by a pro

What I see in the picture wouldn't bother me even a little bit. Zero impact on function and frankly (no pun intended...) not even all that visible. That said, the more you do this kind of work the better you'll get with those kind of details. It's easy to get hung up on the small stuff, don't let something like that chew away at you and detract from the experience of the build. Learn from every step along the way, enjoy the project and then enjoy the guitar!

The A string is the one that worst one. Once I get this thing all together I’m sure it will most likely be the best guitar I’ve played. The highest quality I have played is a fender modern player tale plus ha. It is a nice guitar though

Looks good. 9 way strat switching (7 way + 2 series option) would be nice. I don't know how to get the out of phase and sustain options but if you can do it that would be sweet.

Looks good. That body is a nice one. Those tuners aren't that bad. If it continues to bother you, though, get a set of Hipshots with the upgrade plates. Those are a no-brainer and will hold them in the proper alignment. Just make sure you have the proper sized holes in the headstock. You can always install them with screws, too.
