Hey everybody,

my lovely silver radiant body is on it's way....... hopefully I'll get it next week or the week after that, who knows...
The first order is still being worked on  :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

This lovely piece arrived in San Francisco this morning 6:51 am their time......
Wonder when it will be in my hands.

Hey crash,

woha, I'm so happy someone finally wrote something here...... :hello2: :hello2: :hello2:

Well, I was thinking about a Bloodwood neck with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard. It has to be the 7/8th Warhead.
Which means 24 frets  :headbang1: :headbang1:. Probably some binding on it as well.
Chrome hardware.
But that has to wait, don't have money for all this right now.

Bye  JULIA

Hey riverbluff & AutoBat,

thanks a lot for your compliments. I just cannot wait to get this beauty.

Hello Street Avenger,

thx for your compliment. Just wonder what type of PU's I'm gonna stick in there.
I had asked Rob from W. if they could add a middle Tele SC and a HB at the bridge, he said they will, so it'll probably be having an HSS Tele.

I highly recommend the Dimarzio Area 67 pickups for the SC positions. As for the HB, I don't know what style of music you play, so I'd need more information.

Hello Street Avenger,

I would like for that body to have the "typical Tele sound" (I know, it comes with playing).
A little bluesy as well.
I cannot really say I have a certain/particular playing style. I just started taking lessons about one year ago and I am a very lazy practicer........

I had ordered a Tele Deluxe body from W. as well, which I wanted to make a pure bluesy sounding Tele (2 HB's). Maybe you have an idea for this one?

Well a "typical Tele sound" is not a humbucker. I would have gone with a Dimarzio "Area T", which is what I will be doing when I build a Warmoth Tele.

As for the humbuckers and Blues, there are numerous brands and models that will work well for that. You'll get many suggestions here. I'll just start it off by suggesting the Seymour Duncan'59 model.

Hello Street Avenger,

well, I can still make it a 3 SC Tele. Which "extra" SC would you suggest then and in which position?

If they are Strat-style single coils, I would make the neck and middle Dimarzio Area 67 and perhaps a Dimarzio Injector or Fast Track-1 for the bridge.

If the Bridge pickup is the Tele style, I would install the Dimarzio Area T. These pickups have all the single coil chime with none of the "hum".

Hello everyone,

after my 1st Warmoth order has already arrived here yesterday (German time), my 2nd order (the one shown in this thread) has passed German customs yesterday by 10:10 pm.
So maybe today or on monday I'll be getting the 2nd order, what a lovely early x-mas I'm having and enjoying.

Bye for now

Julia, I would personally recommend either Lindy Fralin tele pickups or Bare Knuckle tele pickups. Bare Knuckle is really pricey but really good. Alternatively, Ken (TroubledTreble) makes pickups as well, and can do what you need for a very nice price. roudhousepickups is his website, just google it.

Hey everyone,

I'll pick up my 2nd order Thursday morning. Cannot wait to unpack it and make some photos......

Maybe, I'll put 'em on here....................tease, sure I will.
But no neck yet and no any other thing, yet.

Someone very nice from this forum is so kind to send me some hardware, he doesn't need.
I decided to go with chrome hardware.
The neck -like already discussed- either a raw wood mixture (Macassar Ebony on Bloodwod) or a 5A birdseye maple (could look really stunning). Pickups as well.

That's it for now

Nice to see such a spectacular body found a good home. It just wasn't for me, but it is striking none the less.
