How are p-90s(for example a seymour duncan sp90-1 or something similar) mounted to the guitar?

if you look at the top it has the 6 pole screws, and 2 smaller holes in the middle. it'll come with 2 longer screws that go through the pickup and into the body of the guitar. usually p-90s have foam under them to raise them up. what i did with mine was to put the mounting screws through, turn them and push with my fingers, take the pickup out, look for the small indentations the screws made in the body and drill 2 pilot holes. worked pretty well. and the p-90 i bought came with 2 different blocks of foam so you could get it right where you wanted it

You can also drill very small pilot holes or mark the holes at the wood and drop a very small amount of super glue on the end of the springs that is nearest the wood and place it over the holes.  Then slide the screws through pickup and place them into the springs.  There is also a youtube video on mounting p-90's.

I think it is Lollar, I will check, but they have a few videos on how to do it and not go thru the back of the axe

edit:  here they are, lots of good info http://www.lollarguitars.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=p90-pickup-installation
