Mounting distance question

I'm going to he installing one of these over the weekend, and the unit shipped with no documentation.  Is there a rule of thumb for how far back from the bridge the trek should be mounted?

not really.  You want to make sure you don't have too much or too little break angle.  That's about it.

I wonder how one of those would work with a Callaham bridge made to use with a Bigsby?
