Then three that must be on there are Neil, Geddy, and Alex.  Actually, I think we should stick with just those three.

Oh - and these guys are definitely not dead.  :headbang:

Gah, stop saying Leo Fender.  He did not play guitar.

If we're saying fender, we should put in Jim Marshall.  Hey - at least he played drums..

Wow...I leave for a few days and this is what happens? :icon_scratch:

Tony,  :rock-on: . I'm not sure what the individuals you named have to do with guitar, though. In any case, your post did get kind of a wierd reply...A very insensitive and poorly worded reply, I might add. :evil4: You have behaved admirably in the face of some low level ignorance. A thousand thanks to you, my freind, for keeping your cool.

As a member of a culture/society/civilization who had been living here several hundred years before the influx of 'settlers' into south Tejas, I can understand the need to represent on our national monuments the original inhabitants of our land.

I am sure though that the original purpose of the thread was just for fun. How many ways can one ask, "Who's your favorite guitar player? Who is the most important? Who rocks the most?" While the obvious answer to each of those questions is clearly ME...Let's have fun!  :hello2:

remember fun?  :icon_thumright:

Thank you for the kind words.

I didn't see anything in the original post about it being for guitar players, so I guess I just kinda shot from the hip.

Being that I love the compositional value of most of the classic 2 guitarist bands, I'd have a pretty extensive list, ie;

Chris Degarmo/Michael Wilton
Jaymz Hetfield/Kirk Hammet
Alex Skolnick/Eric Peterson
Ranyd Rhoads
Niel Giraldo

Are we talking about rock in general or strictly guitarists? Because if the first is true, the list should be on the lines of Chuck Berry/Little Richard/Elvis Presley/Jerry Lee Lewis or something.
(My personal favourite guitarists are Robert Fripp, Neil Young and Adrian Belew - the fourth spot is open for rotation  :icon_biggrin:)

Ok, good name MT. ROCKMORE!
and Tony, I stand corrected...OP didn't specify guitar. That being said, my selection remains unchanged. Rock=Electric Guitar. I got my fourth in there now...
Chuck (Johnny B Goode), Jimi (Spanish Castle Magic), Van Halen (Eruption/You Really Got Me), and Randy (Over The Mountain).

This list can get really long...
Those are my Big Fo'

I know I know, there are many more than four to adore. Maybe you or me will someday be...the fifth member!

Ozzie Osbourne , Alice Cooper  , Mick Jagger and   David Bowie

OR

Michael Jackson, Chuck Berry , Little Richard  and Jimi Hendrix
