Rushmore would be for the 'greats' and the revolutionary innovators- who is Buck Dharma? I know, I can google.  :tard:
It's easy to pick four Americans, as long as they include Chuck Berry. I would go with him, Jimi of course, #4 could be any of a dozen names (Phil Spector? Sam Phillips? Dylan?), and Leo Fender for the hardware side of things.

who is Buck Dharma?

Guitarist for Blue Oyster Cult.

My 4:  Randy Rhodes, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix.  All legends, and all (unfortunately) passed away.

I would make one for the sole purpose of using it as the world's largest Chia Head.  Someone with a big bushy beard would be good cause then we could grow the beard with shrubbery.

ZZ Top and Jimmy Hendrix.

Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, and James Hatfield.  (honorable mention Kurt Cobain and Dimebag Darrell) They all changed how the guitar was played.

If it's supposed to be people who were important to rock music, I'd pick Chuck Berry, Elvis, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan changed rock music forever, because it was his music that inspired so many others to drop the "hey baby baby I wanna hold your hand" type of lyrics and explore other types of subject matter.

Shouldn't you be telling someone to put a Floyd on their telecaster?

If there was any influence from Dylan, it's because people knew they needed to showcase their talents, and not end up sounding like a retard... :laughing11:

Now who here needs a Floyd on their Tele?.... :laughing7:
