Greetings,

On a 5 way switch, how do I wire up the following?

1 Bridge
2 Bridge Mid
3 Bridge Neck (.....like the mid position of a 3 way switch as found on a Les Paul)
4 Mid Neck
5 Neck

Very much appreciated!

Could use this, though it has only two pots.

This has three pots

I know, they aren't 5 way switches.  There must be something on the seymour duncan website if you want to go that way.

Thanks for the info, but I can't get the links to work

Damn, that's a link to my desk top!  I'm going to delete that, thanks!  :yourock:
This is the page where I got them from.

It's best to use a Super Switch.

A normal Fender-style 5-postion switch is actually only 2-pole, 3-throw switch, the "inbetween" positions are just that, indents that connect two throws at once. You may have heard the stories that '50s and '60s Strats had 3-way switching stock and players would finesse the switch into the in-between position, all the 5-way switch does is add an indent so the switching is easier.

But a Super Switch is 4-pole, 5-throw. It can be wired to do any combination of pickups at any position of the switch, no push pull necessary.

All you do is jumper the HOT for each PU to the positions you want it to turn on for.

In this case you would connect the Neck PU to position 1-2-3 one pole, the bridge to 3-4-5 on another pole, and the mid to poles 2-4 on the third, the 4th pole can be used for Tone.
