One option I haven't found much about here is the mini humbucker, a la Firebird. None of these super beautiful projects popping up never feature them.
I'm trying to gather most of the significantly different tone related options I can and if this isn't one of so-called necessaries, whatev. Do they offer that much of a distinct tone?
