Question, maybe a bit off topic?  It seems that all the roasted ash bodies in the showcase are either unfinished or satin clear.  We've seen how the roasted ash responds to clear gloss.  Does it respond to other transparent finishes differently than one would expect?  Would there be some additional finishes coming to the showcase, or maybe some sample pics somewhere?

We have not sprayed any other colors on Roasted Swamp Ash yet. Solid colors will be fine. The big question marks are transparents and bursts. I expect that RSA will respond to those in a similar way that it has to clear....i.e. turn a lot darker than normal. We are keeping our eyes peeled for orders where someone asks for a transparent Green or Blue, or some other equally dubious color, so we can call them and get their approval before proceeding.


As soon as we have some in other colors, you guys will be the first to know.

That clear gloss is amazing.  But... a BRY burst where the red is a deep maroon and the yellow is a rich dark gold?  Um, well, maybe?  We'll see...

I'm thinking mahogany might be a good predictor......if it looks good over mahogany, it would probably look good over RSA. But that is just my guess.
