This is so awesome! Even more so than I thought it would be. Bravo!
Now, what to get for my next neck ... hmmm ...

How about a TURTLE inlay on the peghead, instead of using the decals....

Not a bad idea :icon_thumright:

Sorry guys....ain't never gonna happen. Not on Fender® licensed headstock shapes, anyway. I'd wager not on any others, either.

However, I can tell you that we do have some other extremely cool inlay patterns in the works, one of which includes turtles. Think Hawaii. :)

It occurs to me that since inlays are installed before radiusing the fretboard, and inlay material is rather thin (typically .060"), that if they installed dots offset to one side there may be little or nothing left of them once the 'board is radiused. That might be why they don't offer them. They'd have to wait until after radiusing to install them, then re-surface the neck. They probably couldn't charge a reasonable price for what looks like a relatively simple thing, because it would actually be a time-intensive off-line operation.

Do you guys have to pay for the rights to use a pause symbol or a Play triangle or a rewind or fast forward or stop symbol?

My pick is the supernova on 12th fret only. Why didn't you guys release this 2 months ago before I built my Warmoth??

I think you already have a lawsuit coming your way anyways :icon_biggrin:

Not sure on that as they already offer Nightswan inlays

Good point. So, I wondered - do Nightswan inlays cost more? I went and checked, and sure enough - $90 adder! Then I checked some of the others. Also $90! I had no idea. I rarely order inlays, and when I do, I get dots, which are free. So, I take it all back. For $90, they should be able to do offset dots. Hell, I'll do 'em for that all day long. I don't know why they don't.

Oh great.  I was doing fine just minding my own beeswax and then I saw that Supernova shape marker.  Would be pretty dang cool in moonglow I bet.  I.....must...........resist.......arrrrrrrrrgghhhhhh.

I agree with Aaron, the iron cross and lightning bolts are my faves. But maybe just in the 12th fret, I normally don't like inlays on the fretboard. Unless it's like a name or something uber custom... :turtle:

I noticed that, for the most part, they looked better on darker fretboards. They're all kind of cool. Hard to decide which is my favorite. Can you get a neck with all of them on it?
