I got the impression from the OP that it was an experiment that ran its course and no plans are in the works. Of course, this thread might have been a gauge of interest, but I'm not holding my breath.

Ya...this was an experiment we tried some years ago. There are no plans to put this into production, and this thread was not to gauge interest. It was just a point of interest; something I found in a pile of old necks that I thought people might like to see.

I'd be VERY curious to see what the other experiments might be.  Are these all rejects or unsellable for any reason?  Or just experiments to see if a new technique would be possible?
