Before you clear don't you wanna re wet it and wipe blend?

Getting close, a little more massaging tomorrow after I see how everything dries.

I think I’m going to sand a little in the center and lighten it up with a brighter yellow, then darken up the purple.

Hey, that’s right up my alley, I could even play it at a campfire….

I think it's ready for clear now. I lightened up the center a little, wanted to give the illusion of light. Wiping it down with a damp rag to simulate the clear and the colors really pop. The Purple especially comes out more than it looks now.

I'm lucky enough to have an auto paint supply house close by, so went in and had a nice talk about the different 2k options for the gun. The Lumabase stuff is highly recommended, and got the slow activator for the TX heat. I've only sprayed nitro so far with the gun, so this will be exciting ! Planning on setting up the booth Saturday and spraying the final 3 coats of nitro on the Surf Green Strat, then cleaning the gun and doing the Meadowhawk. Wish me luck !!!
