Maori Tribal Sea Turtle

that is one of the most amazing pieces of art on a guitar I have ever seen.

I commend you for taking it out and gigging it, Barn Door is my fav on stage guitar and I get told all the time to leave it at home it is just to amazing. So to see someone else banging a guitar around and using them as they were intended to be used is fantastic

I do believe a guitar is not art till it can tell a story of it's day on the road, until then it is just wood and metal.

Fantastic build, I salute you.

Jim

Wow--Thanks, Jim! It would never occur to me NOT to take a guitar out to play it, and that goes for vintage instruments, too. I mean, what are they for, anyway? By the way, your Barn Door Tele is one of the coolest guitars I've ever seen, and was instrumental :icon_biggrin: in my purchasing wood burning equipment and getting so deeply into it, so THANK YOU!

thanks back at ya

and by the way, I think the talents on the wood burning is past mine.
although, I am inspired and will be practicing real soon, just a question, those crisp lines, how small of a tip are you using for outlines?

The tip is called a ''small knife'', an' it looks a bit like a scalpel. It's as close to a pen-like feel as I've been able to find so far.

(Must have missed this finished one)

She's a beauty too  :icon_thumright:

Your talent is just amazing Greg  :o
