LPS with a strat hardtail bridge

Has anyone put a hardtail start bridge on a LPS body, and if so do you have pics and did it still feel like a LPS or is this just a bad idea it always feels like my hand is closer on my strat.

I've got a semi-hollow LPS body (non-warmoth) that I just picked up off ebay that is drilled for a strat hardtail. I'll take some pics for you this weekend. It's in pieces, I don't have another LPS to compare it to, and I play bass...so I couldn't comment on how it feels in comparison to an LPS.

The bridge saddles would be on the same spot of the LPS body as the TOM bridge, so whether it's a strat hardtail or a schaller 475 they'd be in the similar position to the TOM. Whether that's going to hit your hand or not is up to you?


BTW, you mean a Flat Top LPS?
