Scored these parts right before the cut off .
Hog Body I finished in TV white , Wenge / Ebony neck with ss frets . Dimarzio DP122cr with "virtual tone pot " which rolls off some extended highs you get with a direct to volume pot .
Babicz bridge and fretsonthenet Aluminum plates

sounds like:

Daaaaayum.  That is a really fine looking bass.  Great handiwork on the finishing, and great choices on the fixtures.  If that had been in the GOTM competition for May it would likely have skewed my vote.

Bagman

-And the amp/cab are gorgeous too!

To this bass, "Wow!" is all I can say! Can ya talk a little more about this one?  I am wondering about where ya got the hardware and plates, -and curious about the body wood and finish methods as well.

Thanks Fellas ! You bet , I did the Curtis Novak TV method on this , which is actually super simple , here is a link for that .

I did my TV somewhat on the raw side , from there you would just need to clear the heck out of it if you wanted a "glass top" , I like the raw vibe though  :guitaristgif:  oh yeah I did a faux binding with 3M tape , it worked perfectly , that blue vinyl tape bends like a champ

And the metal work was done by fretsonthenet , he can be found here . His work is immaculate and very high precision

-And thank you for the link! I love how that grain is popping through the opaque color and showing off the woody texture... the perfect neutral ground between raw and refined. I'm gonna have to give this a try on an upcoming project, -Thanks for the inspiring work and great photos  :icon_thumright:

Sweet ! Thanks again , I've always been a fan of TV's especially a TV White . The history of that color is very cool and makes for a good read . It's also open to interpretation which makes it more fun .  :eek:ccasion14:

I really like open grained bodies.  What was you finish process on that??

Looks great.

Thanks Fellas ! The finish was pretty simple as per the link above , it was reranch Blonde nitro right to raw wood and a couple light coats of polycrylic to lock it in and done . From there most folks would have clear coated it with a few cans of clear and given it a normal clear coat . I liked it soon as it was locked in and left it .
