Lost a piece of the locking tuner...

So I was taking strings off my guitar, and somehow while unwinding, the locking part of the tuner on top came completely unscrewed (wasn't touching it at the time, just using a peg winder to unwind) and fell off... into the abyss.  Fell down a vent, made a number of clanking noises on the way down.  Tried retrieving it, but no luck.

Is there a way to replace just that part?  These are the Gotoh 6-in-line locking tuners... I'm not sure if I can even buy a single tuner or if I have to buy the entire set again

Any ideas?

Rearrange your tuners so the busted one is on a string you don't use very often. Us bassists get by with four, surely you can handle five.

If I wanted to handicap myself, I'd just play my bass  :toothy12:

I spent a good half an hour trying to fish it out already with no luck.  The vent curves twice right at the entrance there, and it sounded like it went pretty far in there, so I don't have much hope.  It's a return vent too, so it's not like it'll get blown back towards me.

So anyone know a way to get an individual tuner?  Or just that part?  Or am I stuck just buying a whole new set?

Not all bassists get by on four...

Its not upside down. He just spent $13k on that bass and couldn't afford anything but a cheapo webcam that flips images to take the photo.
