This board is a great group of knowledgeable people, and from what I've seen, not one is greedy. I've gotten a lot of advice and even parts from these folks, and they haven't asked for anything else in return. Actually, they ask that I help someone else. Doesn't sound selfish to me. If this is what happens when people don't have brains, I wish more people ditched theirs.

Stubhead, thank you.  I've put together two of the best playing, best sounding guitars that I have ever laid hands to, and they are mine all mine, because I made decisions that were right for me, while some guy at Fender or Gibson would have thought they were not good for the bottom line.  All of this with the guidance and assistance of the trully helpful folks here on this board.  Thanks guys.

Ok dudes. I'm a late comer to this topic but it seems to me the guy from stockwell guitars just solved this guys problem. Lighten up. And stockwell, to avoid controversy and time wasting posts that have nothing to do with anything other than the players(?) that think they're better or smarter than everyone you might try private replies to questions like these.

BTW, you answered my question and I never got a chance to ask it.
