Looking for longer 2" neck screws

I'm planning to mount the front strap button using a neck screw like in the picture, so I feel that I need a 2" long screw as opposed to the normal 1 3/4". After a search of the web, I've come up with nothing. Is there such an animal? Source? Am I overthinking it?

You might be able to find what you need at your local hardware store: you want a #8 2in oval head screw, preferably stainless steel

Tried Ace and Fastenal, no go. I forgot to mention I would prefer stainless.

You might be over thinking it. I used the standard neck screw on this Warmoth Wrat build in 2018.

Glad you're enjoying that setup. I love it myself, with the strap button on that neck screw. So ergonomic.
