$60.  Cannot go wrong.

Definitely a visual treat.  If that is one of those Chinese bodies, you may have a l ittle work ahead of you deepening pickup routs or leveling the floor of the neck pocket, but at $60, hell, seems worth it to me.

I saw the email on those today too, I'm tempted to get one to make a strat template with before using.

I just wish they would sell slabs, since their bodies are cheaper than most people's blanks.  My fear is that they are 7-pieces or so.

$60. Heck, I've spent that much at a restaurant for a meal I didn't like. Nice score, even if it takes a little fiddling.

Yep.  Guitar fetish.  Body is basswood.  Most bodies out of there are three pieces.  I will be routing the bridge for a humbucker so some adjustments will be necessary.  If you notice I have to drill bridge mounting holes too.

my biggest fear is the neck pocket.

I've been thinking about getting the red telecaster style, would look great with a white pickguard!

If the wood is Empress Paulownia, I love the warm character it's tone has!

I live to tell that the Guitar Fetish "XGP" bodies are faithful to the original Fender specs, so you can bolt necks and hardware to it from anybody who offers the same. You don't have to worry about neck pocket dimensions like you do with most Pacific Rim bodies.

I was very close to getting one of the telecaster bodies, but then saw that they all had tummy cuts in them.

Tummy cuts == no bender ==  :(

Are you talking about the Guitar Fetish bodies? Because the one I bought doesn't have a tummy cut. In fact, it's bound front and back, and it was still only $70.

It arrived and it does have both a tummy and forearm cut.  Looks really nice and the neck pocket is fender spec.  Now I need a neck.

I am also trying our the GFS Texas wound single coils  My son wants gold hardware so there is going to be some bling on this one for sure....

So I can safely buy one and expect to have a tele style neck from W will fit their tele bodies?
If so we may have found my next build.... :doh:

Yup. Just the XGP stuff, though. The other bodies are a huge collection of anomalies.

A little bling.  Still searching for the perfect warmoth neck.  Suggestions welcome.

And yes I know the jack plate is backwards....lol
