Long shot - Fender knobs with the transition logo

After scouring the internet I might as well try asking here, does anyone in the universe have one of these to sell me? These are from a 1986 MIJ E-series Contemporary Stratocaster. I'm changing the pickguard and I'd really like to add one more matching control knob but these knobs with the transition F logo just don't seem to exist anywhere. Which is a great pity as they're classy as hell.

Fender forum brought up no answers, I'm starting to think I'll end up getting a Warmoth pickguard with no holes, drilling it myself and putting up with just the two knobs.

I was looking for something like that as well and couldn't find any Fender ones.

$60, ouch. And I'm in the UK so I'd be paying import duty and sales tax on top of that.

Mine are solid black plastic, not the rubber-rimmed ones installed on the early Elite (?) Strats. So I'm not certain the ebay ones are an exact match, might just drop the seller a question. Otherwise I'll either end up wasting my money entirely or more likely buying three from him.

Thanks for the links, I'm spending a lot of time, money and effort this month upgrading all my guitars to absolute no compromise no-holds-barred perfection. So I'm probably going to end up spending $180 + tax on knobs now.

That is a lot dude! Just curious, is there no appropriate alternative here or are you trying to get original/period correct?

Spare $385?... gets you a nice scratchplate.

There's always alternatives but I just think they look very classy on a Fender guitar. Thinking about it I could probably get a rubberized one for the volume and have the plastic ones for the tone knobs. That's my cheapest option, they look to be an almost exact match and the guita's been butchered with mods anyway so it won't affect the value.

Yeah, I can't see how anyone trying for an authentic vintage beater look would go for a pickguard with all those extra holes, even if it IS a '62 (and don't get me started on the vintage market and how full of crap it is - you just don't want to hear that much scorn issuing from me).  But in short, that dude needs a whack upside his addled head.

No problem, I just located a better match from another ebay seller. I have just paid a ridiculous amount of money for one control knob. And I absolutely do not care, I'm having my guitars the way I want them and that's that.

I was in Ged Green's workshop a while ago and he was doing some work on a genuine 1960s L-series Stratocaster. This thing was about as "desirable" as vintage guitars get but the thing was just worn out from fret dressing, the high E was nearly hanging off the fretboard and the thing just needed to be sold, retired from use and put in a glass case somewhere.

Or as we said at the time, gutted for the pickups then pushed through a woodchipper.
