Lollar "el rayo's" vs. Bareknuckle "Stormy Mondays"

I actually like DiMarzio humbuckers.  I've played a few and I had an Air Norton in a mahogany-maple guitar that sounded fantastic.  I've never been super-fussed on BKP humbuckers, even though I love their single-coils.  I much prefer boutique handwound pickups for single-coils, but for humbuckers I don't care as much.  *shrug*

The DiMarzio site has pretty detailed specs on each of their pickups and you can find some okay reviews and sound clips on YouTube.

dimarzio cruiser! i playalot of vai stuff but also play in a beach boys tribute group and this pickup does every thing in between

The Lollar El Rayos are, in my opinion, the most versatile neck pickup out there; they have a healthy bottom end without being boomy (which is my problem with most neck humbuckers and P-90s) and clarity without being ice-picky.  Meanwhile, the El Rayo bridge is a little too bright to be as versatile as you may want.
My suggestion to you would be this: an El Rayo in the neck and a PAF-style humbucker in the bridge.  I know you were looking at the Bareknuckle Stormy Monday, so that may be the pickup with which you'll want to go, but I should still let you know that the Lollar Imperials are the best PAF-style humbucker I have ever heard.

Happy shopping!
