So I have a J retro pre amp which is powered via a 9v battery. As well as this two pickups which have mini circuit boards with ground, hot and 9v. The hot and ground is fine and dandy and the two 9vs (one on each pup) are wired together. Now the question is where do i wire the two 9vs cable to to allow the leds to light up due to a cable being plugged into the stereo jack

PROBLEM SOLVED! I tinkered around a bit and turns out all I had to do was splice the red wire for the 9v battery and solder in the two 9vs "sockets" from the mini circuit boards.

First off, why do you have a battery for each pickup? That's not necessary.

Are you trying to wire LEDs to stay on when the bass is plugged in? Unless they are glowing side dots or something of cosmetic importance, doing that would be a very bad idea, as LEDs consume a significant amount of current. You don't want your batteries depleting quickly.
