More parts have arrived:

The plan is the black ones will be the regular strings and the light ones will be the octaves.  This is the first time I've used these tuners - we'll see how they go. Looking forward to the staggered and locking nature of these tuners - especially after years of turning the "uniquely packaged" tuners on Rick 12s.

The tuners look good, and I know what you mean about the Ric 12's.  Looking forward to some more progress.

They are the Sperzel Sound Lock tuners.  They are very light, and kinda funky.  We'll see how well they lock.

It's about 4" by 8".  Quite the inlay!  :glasses9:
