Last Waltz Tribute limited run is now live!

i see i made the mistake of not researching the reference instrument before asking my question

thanks for being good humored about it

No sweat.

If you knew our costs on these, you would wonder why we were selling them for so little.....or why we even bothered doing them in the first place. LOL.

But we did, and I must say it is extremely cool to see and play one in real life! I have a great job!

awesome

just FYI I was not criticizing the price, I just hadn't seen a warmoth body with that many zeroes at the end and figured it was a typo

It probably is the single-most expensive body we've ever offered. But don't forget that the Migas Touch pickguard assembly is included. Those are $600 all by themselves!

And also don't forget there were three to being with. One has already gone out to a happy customer.

It will physically fit over the pickguard but Warmoth doesnt offer a 24 fret reposition on pickguards so you would have to cut your own pickup holes.

Yep.

A neck with a 24 fret extension will attach and intonate on the body just fine, but is not compatible with the included pickguard, as the extension would clobber over the neck pickup.

You'll have to get a different pickguard, and either run with no neck pickup or cut a hole yourself.

That's what i was thinking. Looked like the neck pup wouldn't clear it. But the PG is included, right? Just build it as no neck pickup... Or make it a baritone maybe - hmmmmmmm

Does the tone change much from a typical Strat to the Bronze with the pick guard? I should say, does the bronze have any or much effect on the sound? Kind of wish there was a normal bronze Strat to compare against a non-bronze.
