Lace Sensor

What do you all think of the red/silver/blue set?  Or any other sets by lace that sound good.  I was originally going to go with the dave gilmour emgs, but I don't want a battery to worry about.  These were my next choice.  Anyone have experience with these?

I had a set of the Lace blue,silver,red for years. I liked them. They arent hot or dont get dirty very easily. They are clean and shimmery. Classic strat sounds but with limitations. I liked the blue the best, very full sound. I was able to get very close to a SRV sound but never close enough. If you like Mark Knopfler then they would be more suited for that sound.

Those were in an ash body with a maple/maple neck. I think a rosewood fingerboard would have helped the sound a bit.
