It's been a while since I built one for myself so I decided to do an art guitar in collaboration with my artist son and the Great Ape. The idea is to have my son do the art work of my koi and then send it off to the Greg for him to do the wood burning and coloring then back to me to for the final finish in lacquer. I selected a unique choice piece of quilt maple for the top on a mahogany back as a platform for the art. Stay tuned for updates.

Are you putting a Bridge pickup in that?

Yes it is getting a Loller String-Through Steel pickup in the bridge position and a Gold Foil Soapbar in the neck.
