KNS vs Z

I've been thinking of a Z build for a while, but then I see the KNS and ...

Anyone play both? To me the Z doesn't really look crazy futuristic like the V/Star/Explorer/etc.. it looks more like something Leo could've made but never did.
But the KNS looks like it's Dinky adjacent - not exactly the same shape but slightly smaller super strat with better horns. KNS is a little "safer" but I think Z still has classic looks and not just weird for weirdness sake.

I'm curious about balance and handling though.

I’ve had a Z and I much prefer the KNS.
The Z has that part of the cut on the upper waist that is a hard poke to the ribs, and the lower part of the lower cutaway digs into your leg when playing in a seated position.

The KNS is smooth and even all the way around, and extremely well balanced.

Thanks - still undecided but I'm actually thinking about ditching that once beautiful BK strat for a hardtail recessed TOM or block the VS100 I have, and putting my Wenge 24.75 neck on that with some low output humbuckers I have. That's close to what I originally wanted to do with that guitar anyway before it turned into a 15 year side project - it was supposed to be my Les Paul for people that hate Gibsons.

I agree with Tony's assessment: my recent Z was a fabulous playing short scale bass, but IMHO that body is not especially ergonomic.
