Knotty Pine Tele

Over on lumberjocks - I've seen recommendations to heat pine up to 130 degrees to crystalize the sap to kill the ooze. The other common recommendation is SHELLAC to seal pine knots. Poly itself is inert, but won't stop the ooze underneath.
 
the superglue did the trick and the finish (satin Polly) adhered without any issues..... no signs of any other oozing

Super glue works wonders to seal up wood, I've used it on mahogany and spalted maple. :icon_thumright:

Also Loctite 2 Ton epoxy...
