I got my Tele from Warmoth recently.

This is how it turned out...
I think it came out great and even better looking than in the online builder  :headbang:

Anyway, what do you reckon?
Btw, I could not capture the beauty of that top in a pic... it looks much better in person and has a 3D thing to it where the quilt seems to move when you slightly turn the guitar. I'm in awe!!!  :blob7:

It has a beautiful 1-piece Korina back... and a really fat all-RW neck!
My most beautiful guitar project so far!

It's beautiful. Stunning! Really classy.
What pickups are those and how does it sound?

Thanks bro, these are handmade pickups by a guy in Greece - GAS pickups.
Alnico 2 roughcast, low/medium output, symmetrical bridge, asymmetrical neck - basically a boutique version of the Slash pickups.

The guitar is super responsive - but surprisingly has a lot of high end twang and brilliance - maybe due to the stainless steel Hipshot fixed bridge.

I expected this to turn out super warm - yet it has turned out quite bright. It's sort of a hybrid Tele/LP sound... quite interesting and a beautiful new tonal palette to play with... the Alnico 2 magnets definitely were a good choice here as they keep things warm. The full Madagascar RW neck adds a nice tight bass and very good sustain with a bit of compression... very different to usual Teles/LP's/Strats yet very interesting.
The 1-piece black Korina back is beautiful as well - but medium heavy in weight - for someone who's weight concious I would advise him to go "chambered" here.
Anyway, I love the outcome so far!

This makes me more comfortable to order a honeyburst. I was planning on a Regal with a flame maple top with honeyburst, but every time I saw the mockup I kept thinking "it's not my honeyburst!!"
Good to know it's actually darker in person.
Beautiful guitar!  :icon_thumright:

Wow, that's one hot Tele! I'm, going to pile on and say that she looks way better than the mock up. Comparisons like this (builder projection vs. actual product) are invaluable; we all know to take them with a grain of salt but it's very enlightening to see them side-by-side. Thanks!

Glad that you find this valuable!
This has been one super project, many thanks for your comments

It's helpful to see the builder and actual pics. It looked good in the builder but really came alive in the finished form. Thanks for the pics.
