Thanks bro, these are handmade pickups by a guy in Greece - GAS pickups.
Alnico 2 roughcast, low/medium output, symmetrical bridge, asymmetrical neck - basically a boutique version of the Slash pickups.
The guitar is super responsive - but surprisingly has a lot of high end twang and brilliance - maybe due to the stainless steel Hipshot fixed bridge.
I expected this to turn out super warm - yet it has turned out quite bright. It's sort of a hybrid Tele/LP sound... quite interesting and a beautiful new tonal palette to play with... the Alnico 2 magnets definitely were a good choice here as they keep things warm. The full Madagascar RW neck adds a nice tight bass and very good sustain with a bit of compression... very different to usual Teles/LP's/Strats yet very interesting.
The 1-piece black Korina back is beautiful as well - but medium heavy in weight - for someone who's weight concious I would advise him to go "chambered" here.
Anyway, I love the outcome so far!
