Just random Warmth question

Probably about 1200 or so if you ordered one of the top end dyed finish bodies and an exotic wood custom neck with binding.

There's a one piece Koa tele that'd get you a real good start on it at $920 for the body alone.

Then there's an $798 roast flame maple Tele neck

Throw a Gotoh Vintage Tele In-Tune $65 gold plated bridge, Schaller locking tuners (also in gold) for $135, Frailin pickups at $100 each, plus neck plate, screws, knobs, caps, switch, etc...  I got to $2120 before I lost interest adding up the small parts. You can always drop $50 on a fancy switch if you feel like it.

That ought to be enough to convince your wife to let you cobble together your $500 parts guitar.

The most expensive single item would appear to be, since I couldn't find that Koa body (Will keep looking)

There are literally trillions of combinations. (I'm using "literally" correctly here.)

I have no idea what the most expensive combination might be, but it probably starts with Koa.

I'd agree, all koa body, koa neck or 5A maple (birdseye, quilt, flame). Plus every option possible...$$$$$  :laughing7:

Yeah, but I can't find koa in the custom shop. Maybe you guys could help?

Tele, mostly, b/c that's what swarfrat had a pic of.
It'll probably only listed as a laminate top, not a core wood since it's so expensive these days..You'd probably have to call and make a special order if you don't like the one swarfrat posted, shich is sill available on the site.

Because Koa has become so rare and expensive, its availability in the custom builders in very limited. You're more likely to find it in the In-Stock Showcase.

If you want a custom Koa piece, your best bet is to call in and talk to a sales rep. We do have a lot of killer Koa stockpiled, but it ain't cheap.

Insider's tip: next year is a Warmoth's 40th Anniversary, and we have a number of crazy things planned for release. I mean....really, really crazy-cool stuff that I wish so bad I could talk about right now.

But I can't.

So don't ask.

What's happening?

Where am I?

I feel drugged.....

I see now that it would be hard to get from the custom shop. when i posted that last one, I hadn't seen the second page. sry. Darn is, the aaron, you made me curious. Now I'll be trying to find out what you're doing next year.
