Just purchased a new body & neck from the showcase.
It will have a vintage 6 hole tremolo from Callaham & Bill Lawrence pickups.
Neck will have 6150 frets, corian nut which I will probably change to a real bone nut, sperzel tuners, & a satin finish.

Actually had a chance to get one with a good bit of flame but I don't really like that look and I don't think they sound better because of it. I always look for a consistant pattern in the grain of wood instead of the looks.

Still waiting on certain parts like a concentric pot to operate the Q-filter & be able to still keep the basic tone controls the way they are.

In wood, the less figured means the harder it is... For neck it's quite good to be rock solid...

Amazing parts! :icon_thumright:
Don't forget: when it's done, pics or it doesn't exist!  :icon_biggrin:

#Waiting on one little thing & it's finished, but here is the body for a new project i started. Will have black pick guard & rosewood neck.

Should look nice! Be sure to make a rain of pictures and arrive both!

Finally here is the first guitar finished

Bill lawrence pickups : L-200's neck & middle, & bridge L-298
Schaller tuning keys
Callaham bridge & block assembly
Hennesy Strap Locks
Warmoth alder body - 4lb
Warmoth maple neck 10"-16" compound radius
Concentric pot so I can use the Q-filter on all pickups & still have tone control for all the pickups.
And yes Fender decals. Strat style guitar looks naked with out them.
Played through a Rivera Chubster. Mullard, Telefunken, Rca 12AX7 & 5751 tubes with Tall bottle STR Sylvania 6L6GC's. All tubes come from Andy at Vintagetubeservice.com

I swear, i've had my eye on that body for awhile, looks killer, hope it sounds as good as it looks

It actually sounds amazing. I was very surprised at the tone it has. Those BL pickups also have some to do with it. Well everything really, researched every part I put on it. From the pots & pickups to the exact size capacitors & resistors.  Used experience from the last 30 years of playing & working on guitars to put together this guitar.  I really like the Callaham bridges also.
