I got the back of the necks polish sanded today with Klingspor 2000 Wet/Dry paper and the first coat of boiled oil on it. It feels like glass this is a beautiful neck!  Next I’ll tape off the headstock and finish it with gloss lacquer.

Holy crap!  Thanks Tonar - it looks awesome.  The finish really brings out the flame - will it stay like that?

No it will get better!  :icon_biggrin: As the wood begins to age it will darken up and the color will become even more intense.:icon_thumright:
