Just a plain 'ol tele

So another build started, nothing fancy to compete with all the gorgeous builds that go on here every month. Just a plain tele, single coils, etc.
Satin black tele body, roasted maple neck, to be burnished, all black hardware, etc. Almost everything is ordered and should be arriving in the next week or so.
Only real thing left to do is choose PU's, leaning towards a twang king set, but..... :dontknow:

Thanks folks, I've been wanting one for a while. Also thinking no pickguard, just a black neck PU ring (as I can change my mind and add one later if I want). I'll post pics of the body/neck when I get them

I suppose I can also thank Aaron, when I saw him hold up a satin black body in a Warmoth video, showing off some satin finishes, I knew I had to have one, and even all black hardware as he suggests in the video. Sorry, no all black neck

That is one sweet looking tele!
I’m curious how the white edge trim would look on a body with contours? I’ll have to search online and see what I can find. Too late for this one, but maybe a future build?

They won't bind the back of the body if there's a belly cut, but they'll bind the forearm-contoured front side.  Here's an idea of how it looks, ganked from TDPRI:

I did a black satin Tele w/ roasted Maple neck about a year ago, I think it was. Fantastic combination. Warmoth's new satin finishes are fantastic. No finger prints or any of the typical blemishes satin finishes are known for.
