Jazz Baron: Hard Tail & Neck Plate...

With so much happening around here, I never posted any pix of the Hard Tail & Neck Plate that Doug did up for me. Here goes....

The hard tail was ordered from Faction, and Doug engraved my chosen design. Just seemed like an awful wide expanse to leave unadorned. The hard tail as received from Faction was a little "rough" for my liking, with a lot of detritus left in place after the laser cutting. I cleaned it up, and actually ended up doing an In-Line-Sanding finish on it after Doug worked his magic.

I actually really like that hard tail plate idea. Seems like a simple answer if I ever find a JM from the showcase I REALLY want.

I like that hardtail plate idea, too. Especially since they can be made to look so good.

Those hardtail plates are a great solution. They look good, too. Especially after Doug gets his hands on them.

That's an awesome idea and look for the JM. Engraving turned out great!
