Jaguar short scale bass body

Since Fender seems to discontinue their Jaguar Short Scale Bass (as I "heard), would there be enough demand to Warmoth to step up and offer a similar body?

Why replicate a slow seller? Besides.... Fender will probably debut a "new" short scale bass at the next NAMM as a replacement. The Ibanez Mikro short scale basses are much nicer and sell for the same price point or less.

The Ibanez Mikro's are a great deal, and very well made entry-level or non-main-instrument basses.  They don't have the Space Age lines of the Fender products but what are you gonna do?

When I was shopping for a new bass, I had a 1000$ budget, and ended up with the Jaguar SS, just because it was incredibly comfortable, and good looking too. Felt such a connection with that bass that I ended up using it almost exclusively.

Never mind about the look of Ibanez basses, even if they are very nice instrument.

But again, I doubt that there would be enough demands to Warmoth to offer us that body shape in Short Scale, but who knows...

Oh, I agree.  How hard could it be just to add this body shape? The would not have to make a new neck for it because they already have 30 and 32 inch necks for their whole SS line, so why not add a Jag shaped body?  I was so sad to hear that Fender/Squire discontinued these. They are much loved by the bass community and were thought to be a steal for the price.  I would be cool to be able to roll your own now as it were, and not just have the same PJ setup that it came with but all the usual Warmoth options.  I vote an emphatic yes!
