i didnt mean to start a war of the late night hosts. i'd think people would be slightly more chearful around christmas but i guess late night tv is as  touchy a subject as politics and religion around here. conan isnt always funny but i know he's betterthan carson daily so he's not te worst, so lets all agree to hate carson daily!

I like them all, Craig Ferguson IS funny, But you know who has really surprised me and now i can't miss his show , is Jimmy Fallon. Wasn't a huge fan of his when he was on Saturday Night Live, But his show after Leno is very good

good call! i completely forgot about jimmy fallon. a friend of mine watches his late night shows almost religiously, so i decided to see what all the fuss was about. anybody who has helen mirren on and gets her to play beer pong has my attention.

ok, ok, you're pretty close there. Conan is great, but once again, this is all personal preference. I totally concede that on the surface, Craig is "stupid". But that's his bit. That's the character he plays. If you watch him regularly at all, you'll catch on that he's really a fairly educated and smart human being, who constructs this great show around the concept that talk shows suck.

Personally, I'd put Lopez at the bottom. I mean, his show is downright painful to watch (but then, I haven't even touched Leno, so maybe he is worse. anyhow, now I know to avoid him,)

The only reason I ever watch Letterman is for the B3 (and because Craig is on right after

Craig is tough to get. I thought he was really boring for a really long time. you have to watch him a lot to get beyond what he does night after night.

It's a pretty liberal site so nearly everything is based on imagination and emotion rather than facts, but even so, it can be entertaining - kinda like watching a multi-car wreck. Plus, Arianna is kinda hot in a MILF sort of way. That accent makes you want to poke her just to hear her talk <grin>

Studies have shown that conservatives have more emotional reations to things than liberals. I think conservatives tend to use their intellect to confirm their "gut" feelings while liberals tend to distrust their initial reactions and use their intellect to disprove them. Not saying that either that one is better than the other, but just that some political tendencies seem to be based on how our brains work rather than upbringing or "facts".

Back on topic, I used to watch Carson in the day and sometimes Letterman after. Not much into any of them anymore, but some of the Fallon musical numbers have been cool.
