kind of funny. even though conan got pretty heated the whole thing looked set up to me. the article makes it sound like they almost came to blows and then had a random guitar duel

EDIT: finally got to watch the video on something that WASN'T my laptop and got to see the whole thing :laughing11: definitely funny.

It seems that half of the people on my Facebook post status updates about the Conan show. I tried watching it a few times, couldn't get any more than 10 minutes in before I had to change the channel.
Conan is NOT FUNNY! Jack Black is NOT FUNNY AND IRRITATING!

fair 'nuff. conan wasn't too funny on nbc but i think he's gotten better. late night talk shows were never that funny and i think he was always better than leno and letterman. craig ferguson is definately funnier and jimmy fallon has his moments.

+1 Staged...They would not have had guitars 'just lying around' and got them 'just plugged in'' spontaneously. There would have had to have been a soundcheck at least.

All of my highschool pals think Conan is the god of comedy. I always tell them he's too stale, forced, and somehow seems horribly scripted and pre-planned. I guess here's a piece of proof that it's totally rehearsed and everything. For me, Craig Ferguson is non-stop laughs. I know he's not the best thing ever, and that some people don't find him funny, but hey, he sure hits my funnybone.

My inlaws have some of those collections of Johnny Carson, I think He was the king of comedy, that guy was funny even when the skit was going south, and talk about improv, he had interviews that went so wrong as live TV can, and you were busting your sides laughing at him.
These guys are all just trying to achieve what he did.

nah, not hating. he just plain old isn't funny to me for whatever reason. I find his stuff (the new stuff anyway), painfully bland. IT just doesn't hit my funnybone at all. IDK why. His adverts for the new show were funnier than his show has been, at least to me. Trust me, just watch Craig, 'cause he's funny too. (and he has a rattlesnake mug, and a "don't tread on me" tattoo on his arm, and a talking robot ("in your pants") and he does puppets).

+1. and if you think conan is bad then craig will make you throw your TV away. that guy is awful. but this is why there are so many late night shows. everything from letterman to george lopez! not everybody can agree on one.
