So it's 99% assembled - all except the truss rod cover.

The wiring will be done this weekend (kids willing)

The fret ends will be dressed after it's fully assembled and after some play time, so I can get a feel for how much I reality need to take off.

Right now I'm letting it come to tension with strings on (sounds brilliant and pianistic acoustically) but here's a taste.

Got set back by a migraine last night - hopefully I'll get a change to finish up the wiring tonight

I've finalized the wiring scheme based on the suggestions provided (and  I found another Push/Pull pot from a prior build.

Volume/ Bass rolloff / Treble rollof (PTB) with the Bass Tone pull to add the bridge humbucker and the Treble Tone pull to put the neck and bridge pickups in parallel humbucking, and push for series humbucking.

I did put one "beauty mark" on it when I overtightened an insufficiently countersunk screw in the top on the pickup switch - and right in the prettiest part of the quilt too... ah well. Guitars aren't just to look at.

This thing is heavy though - it weighs at more than my RG8, and almost as much as my Ibanez 6 string bass.

That is an EXTREMELY good looking guitar.

Thanks - I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Since I like tonally bright guitar necks I considered going with a Canary or Canary/Ebony neck, but I think the paler BE maple (with just Danish oil finish) sets off the body and makes the black tuners "pop".

The Titans are really interesting pickups - super detailed and balanced - not quite as hi-fi as some of the Bill Lawrences I have, but significantly clearer than pretty much every humbucker I've played otherwise. The attack feels more immediate to them than anything else I've had from Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio. There's no low-end mung going on either - which was my biggest fear with a baritone, and I why I went with these.

I considered doing P-Rails/Tripleshot load out... and if I do a Bass IV type rig, that's probably the way I'll go, but I wanted this to be a little more modern tonally.
